Dana J. Henry has been a licensed attorney in the State of Louisiana since 2000.  Dana focuses his practice in the areas of Family Law and Domestic Matters.  Dana handles all legal matters related to child custody, child support, paternity, divorce, both pre- and post-nuptial agreements, wills, trusts, and successions.

Since 2005, Dana has also worked as a senior business consultant for a management consulting firm based in New Orleans.  In that capacity, he managed the National Urban League’s Gulf Coast Economic Empowerment Program (GCEEP) and the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development’s (LADOTD) DBE Support Services Program. Both programs assisted minority and women owned construction firms in maximizing their contracting opportunities in the Gulf South Region by providing critical business management assistance through workshops, seminars, and personal consultations. Dana has also worked as a consultant for the New Orleans Redevelopment Authority (NORA) and the Regional Transit Authority (RTA) regarding the design, implementation, and monitoring of their DBE compliance programs at the city, state, and federal levels.

Dana received his Juris Doctorate degree from the Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Howard University in Washington D.C. Dana is licensed to practice in all Louisiana State and Federal Courts, including the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana and the United States Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit.
